Every time I DC in this game..

I always get the "You're still logged in! Please wait! 3102!" for like 10+ minutes. I've tried restarting my computer, router, etc, but it never speeds it up.

Is there some way to force your character out of the game quicker? I'm tired of getting vote kicked at the last boss because of an untimely DC, and it never seems to take anyone else this long to get back in the game =/

I would think theyd be smart enough to set up the server so that at least if you DCed with a OTP in use, if you logged back in with it in use itd immediately kick the old one and let the new connection on.

I have another problem when i disconnect and re-login.

The load screen takes forever...

For example:
- Every wipe in Titan EX
- In dungeon when changing zone

During the load time, I can hear people casting magic and even ping sound from party chat <se.1> but my screen is just black and still loading. Sometime, the load is so long that people just vote kick me out.

Is this normal ? , Does anyone else got this ?

By the way for OP, regarding to 3102 - I have work been using this method to shorten error 3102 time. Not sure if it is actually a solution or just something i made.

- Disconnect
- Close FFXIV
- Start Client
- Enter Login / Pass
- Go to Data Center
- Select other Data Center not in your zone
- Go back to start screen
- Switch back to your normal data center
- Get in game

Never have to wait above 3 minutes

It happens to everyone sometimes, no idea what causes it though.

Are you constantly trying to log back in during those 10 minutes? If I keep hitting log in right after I've dc'd it gets stuck at that. If I leave it 30-60 seconds and not touch anything it lets me back in

As Dijana said, maybe leave it alone for like a minute before trying to get back in.

Seeing this post reminded me of launch week for many of us 3102 survivors... Some were locked out for a week, was 4 days for me.

It's actually the game still trying to dc you. An fc mate dc'd during levi ex, got 90k and booted from game. When he tried to log back he said that he was still "logged in". On my scree his character was just standing there with dc sign by his name but was eventually dc after a min or two. So this is what happens when you get the "still logged in" error.

It happens to everyone sometimes, no idea what causes it though.

And the only solution to it is to re-enter duty. Any subsequent loading screen in the duty will be extremely long, including when you are raised, it's gonna take very long.
