It's been stated by Yoshida himself that he thinks players should be able to pick their own styles of play (time wise). There was also a dev post stating that instead of fatigue/surplus, they would end up implementing a feature that is like Rested Experience, which essentially is: If you don't log in for a few days, instead of receiving 100% of experience, you will gain 150% instead. Those are not exactly values given, just an example.

Insulting people in the counter argument isn't going to change their minds. It will make them stick harder to their opinion regardless of whether or not it's right, and think less of your opinion simply because you insulted them. In essence, if you want to try and change someone's mind, come up with a well thought-out response and don't be a dick.

surplus wouldn't be so bad if it stopped at 50% and allowed us to keep lvling. the reason why it sucks so bad right now is because it goes down to 0% and then we can't do anything unless we switch class or stop playing....
if anything, make non surplus number text blue, then when it gets down to 50% surplus, change it to white/yellow. allow us to keep lvling at 50% exp. there we go.
no it just bad all together they shouldnt hinder others game play and from day 1 it should have been scrapedsurplus wouldn't be so bad if it stopped at 50% and allowed us to keep lvling. the reason why it sucks so bad right now is because it goes down to 0% and then we can't do anything unless we switch class or stop playing....
