Atma weapon isn't worth the farm.

It really isn't. My FC managed to get to Coil 9 this week and shows you don't need the atma to get that far. Most likely don't need it to down it either.

I don't mind grind, I refuse to grind 10+ hours for each atma.

And what is the other players take on this?

It only took me 9 hours to get all the atmas (two hours alone for the last one) and I agree that right now it's not worth it. It also takes about a day to grind enough myth / finish one book. I'm still doing it simply because it will always be a formidable weapon. It will always be upgraded as the game progresses, so it will always serve a purpose.

It's not the best, it's certainly not the worst. If it continues to be that way, I'm happy with it.

Considering the chance to get it is the exact same each time, I don't see the point of trying to farm it for so long. When you're bored of it, do something else for a while. 100 plus failures does not make the 101st any more likely to be a success.

YOu just now figured out that you don't need the atma to do all that? Did you just realize that the atma's stats are no different then the zenith's stats unless you do books?

It doesn't take 10+ hours for each atma either. I got 6 atma in less then an hour, with three of them dropping in only 5 minutes. It's all the luck of the draw. While the method for attaining atmas may not be the most fitting for end game content, it's still not a terrible idea. Everyday someone would post on these forums about how bored with the game they are because they have "nothing to do". With the way atma and animus weapons work, NO ONE can complain about having nothing to do.

FC did, I didn't. Not a raider in this game(hardcore anyways).

And yes, yoshi needs to see what a terrible idea this was.

Why do people keep complaining about this. I loved the atma farm and I'm gonna do it again with another class cause it was the first time I felt that I deserved a good item in this game.
If you don't like the atma quest don't do it, but some of us like the farm so let us do it!

I read this as: "I got my 12 atmas already because I am INSANELY lucky. Now I'm going to try my luck again with a brand new Zenith and hope for the same good fortune."

Try arguing that point to players who have literally spent 6 hours in the SAME DARNED ZONE without a single Atma drop. Some people have worked just as hard as you and aren't even a quarter of the way towards finishing their atma weapon. The reliance on random drops hurts more than it helps.

I'm pretty sure he's saying this for other people who still haven't realized it, not that he has completed it himself.

I was looking forward to the grind even before I started the quest. Some people just like grinding and now we have finally got something that I really enjoy, and if everyone complains there won't be any more fun content like this for those who do enjoy grinding.

During my atma grind I added three new people to my friends list and got to talk to people from my own server instead of others in duty finder. So yeah I think this was a big step forward for the game.

Also I don't see the problem with rng, it's like making threads complaining that the royal vest never drops in crystal tower for me. I'll just queue up for another run and hope it drops
