so lastnight i got the 2nd phase of the testing , today i tryed to log in and it failed due to maintenance. i done a little searching and found that it ended today at 9AM , i want the game for ps4, if i pre-order now will i still get an early access code when it is available?

As far as I understand a pre-order should get you an early access code for April 11th.

Seems Amazon UK do not have any Pre-Order codes

Do not worry, Koopa_Troopa, I'm pretty sure you're receiving your pre-order code on time. Just be sure to check your e-mail out (inbox and spam folders) from time to time.
I know official webpage states the number of pre-order codes is limited, and distribution will cease when the limit has been reached, but there were not so many problems (if any at all) before with PC and PS3 versions, so I guess PS4 will be just fine.

Which kinda defeats the whole idea of the Early access as you'd receive the code about Wednesday next week ... If you have (access to) PS3 and want to be sure to start playing on your PS4 this Friday get (much cheaper) PS3 version instead now and upgrade it to PS4 on Friday morning for free If you'll get hold of CE edition you'll receive the PS4 CE bonus items as well.

Ok so someone on the Amazon forums has just said that there was a pre-order end date for the early access code of Feb 5th in the EU, if this is true then it looks like I'm not going to be playing all this weekend

Can anyone confirm? If this is true then it doesn't say anything about this date on the Square Enix website that was posted above. http://eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/pr/ps4...080.1396950166

Each retailer can set their own rules in regards of the codes distribution and "closing" dates and so on. The details should be part of the product desription and it seems it's not mentioned in the UK Amazon site. Still you can get PS3 version for only £7.60 right now there and play from Friday however you'd need to have PS3 to activate the copy / login to the game at least once.

just pre-oredered from GAME.co.uk and got my pre-order redeam code in an email shortly after. used it on ps4 and it worked, just have to wait for the early release to start.
