Please delete the top 50-100 players in your Black List. They don't need to say (Deleted) on the blacklist for them to no longer be there. I took almost 130 players off my Blist months ago.
I delete maybe ones week the first 5 and any that say (deleted.) I never have more than 10 slots taken by blacklist at any time.
Yeah, I agree. If they're not going to be more aggressive about removing RMT advertisers and accounts, then at least give us more space on the blacklist.
I've had a lot of the same names keep sending me /tells even after I've reported them, blacklisted them, and then wiped my blacklist clean after it reached 200 names.
I love how people applaud themselves for keeping their black list clean by deleting the top ones,
But
1) this shouldn't be up to the player to do, having to look at a list of names with random letters in it from spammers, should be hidden
2) I still find it shocking that so long after re release an auto report block feature isn't there,it's the staple of any MMO the fact it isn't a priority to devs but making sure people might have the chance to see their knuckles when using fists is, shows SE really has lost it with them
Black list should be for people who were rude in game and you felt you needed to blacklist them, not to be an endless list of Gil sellers they need cleaned out weekly.
Keep the "oh it's not an issue I clean my weekly" to yourself, really not interested
And for those who say the top ones are fine to delete, rubbish , I did and still got the tells
It pains me that we I still have to blacklist an average of 3 RMT a game session.
I've played F2P games with better RMT managing than this. They even outright refused to limit the /tell/shout/yell privileges of fresh characters, which would be the most obvious and easiest thing to do.
Personally, I suspect the reason SE is doing such a half-ass job at fighting RMT is because they profit from them. They just put a show for us and regularly ban them so they buy new accounts, but keep all avenues for their proliferation clean and ready. It kind of makes it easier to understand the ridiculous things they refuse to do to combat them.
you might be on to something here , maybe the RMT spammers work secretly for SE and thats why we dont get bigger blacklists and they wont get banned , its a pretty smart conspiracy , like that they can keep the "non buy to win" credibility for themselves and the game , while making tons of cash via gil selling![]()
How long did you wait? Did you delete all 200 on your list at once? I mean waiting a week or two may not be long enough, I had players on there since launch. SE has to investigate each case individually so its going to take time for actions to be taken against accounts. Can do a few once a week that are in the top slots. But deleting someone that you put on your blacklist two days ago chances are the account is still active.
Lots of RMTs are being tricky spamming 100-200 people or w/e it is logging off, Waiting 5-15mins and repeating the process. Some even spam people for a few hours and then delete the character and make a new one.
