Sort problem, possible bug?

I have accidently sorted my bags a few times now.. while trying to discard an item and have noticed something odd that is now occuring. Sometimes while crafting, it will take an item from a stack that is not first in my bags. IE: Making some leather.. have 2 stacks of alumen or black alumen.. one being a half stack, the other being a full stack. The half stack is before the full stack yet it will take from the full stack instead.

Did I screw something up somehow by sorting or is there a possible bug here?
Have reported it.. just incase it is.. but I feel something might be wrong with some setting that got mixed up in the auto sort I didnt mean to do etc.

Bump, just to see if anyone has either had this issue.. or knows a way for me to fix this...

I haven't really kept an eye on it, but I do remember it had an odd priority on what material stack it takes from. Since I recall having to re-stack everything as they were consumed in an odd order.

either way.. something isnt right with this... not sure if its a sorting bug or some inventory bug that happens after a sort.. but it is annoying as hell,

I believe it'll just take from whatever stack it feels like. Same as if you have 2 of the same exact pants in your armory. Sometimes it'll equip you with 1 other times it'll equip you with the other.

When auto-sorting it places the full stacks first then the half-full ones, and when crafting afterwards it's always taken from the half-full ones for me. It's probably taking things from the last stack of an item you have, so if you place the half-full before the full ones, it will start with the full stacks.
