question about glamour

hi, i have unsubed for a few months, and one of the reasons was there wasn't this current "glamour" system.
i might sub again and try out the update.
my question is can i cast a glamour from my robe to a hood cowl? i hate the look of the robes, but i want the stats of the robe and the look of a hood cowl. is this possible to make with the current system?

To my knowledge I don't think that would work. The reasoning being the robe takes up one equipment slot (body), where the hood cowl takes up 2 (both head and body). Now I could be very wrong, but to my understanding, that's how it works currently.

You can (Just tested, because I actually didn't know before). Though you obviously can't glamour a head onto it or anything.

As a side note, the only cowls at high level are the darklight ones, and they are no longer really necessary.

Crafters craft glamour prisms, which you buy and use.

Not sure if you misunderstood the question, or I did, or something changed, but the patch notes specifically say...

Glamours cannot be cast
Casting the glamour of a hooded cowl on a robe, as the head slot of the hooded cowl is not covered by the robe.

However, I have not personally tried to do it.

The way I read it, you can glamour a cowl to look like a robe, but you should not be able to glamour a robe to look like a cowl.
