[SPOILER]Skipped main scenario ending cutscenes. Now they're missing from my inn log.

On my first character, while running Praetorium, I got matched up via Duty Finder with a speedrunning group that kept leaving me behind and threatening to kick anyone who watched cutscenes. Not wanting to rock the boat, I went along with it and dutifully skipped every cutscene as they appeared. When we got to the end, after defeating Ultima Weapon and Lahabrea, I skipped the ending cutscene as well figuring I had already skipped everything else and would just watch everything together in the inn later.

After watching [what I thought was] all the Praetorium and Main Scenario cutscenes at the inn and turning the final story quest in, Minfilia mentioned a primal roar being heard during a celebration. I didn't remember any roar or celebration from the cutscenes I had watch and thought it was odd, but didn't think much of it and went on with my remaining endgame quests.

Now today, on an alt, I also ran Praetorium and wrapped up my story quest. This time, I didn't skip the final cutscene and let it all play out. To my surprise, there were three additional cutscenes I hadn't seen before after saving Thancred and escaping the installation, showing a celebration in Mor Dhona, announcing the end of the Seventh Umbral Era, the credits rolling and what was presumably Bahamut re-awakening. I went to the inn after and noticed that there were 4/4 cutscenes listed under "The Ultimate Weapon" entry.

Going back to my first character, I only have 1/1 cutscenes listed--the first one of the four, showing you racing ahead of the exploding fortress with Thancred--under that entry. I thought perhaps by running Praetorium again the last 3 would play, but it just dumps me back out into the overworld when I click on the exit portal and the main scenario ending cutscenes don't play.

This needs to be advertised somehow. The constant argument has been "skipping cutscenes" during runs of the last two main scenario dungeons, because the speedrunners cry "I don"t want to waste my time for your immersive experience". Now we"re finding out there are *skippable* scenes that *WILL NOT* show up in the inn. I paid to experience the entire game. Now thanks to the whiners and vote kick abusers (because people have kicked people for watching cutscenes. Last I checked, that was not one of the reasons listed for kicking), I may have potentially missed out on content I paid for unless I play through the entire main scenario again on an alt? This should be the final argument against the speedrunners. No, I will not miss out on content that I paid for, and no, I should not be kicked or locked out of boss fights because I chose to enjoy it.

That being said, I hope some way can be discovered to circumvent this...can't believe I missed those scenes...I just finally wanted to finish the main scenario without stepping on peoples toes...

Here are screenshots showing exactly what I'm talking about. THIS is the character that skipped the main scenario ending cutscene, and THIS is the character that didn't skip. Notice how the former is greyed out with only 1 cutscene viewable, while the later has multiple cutscenes selectable (4 total).

This could potentially be an issue for anyone completing the main storyline after the 2.1 patch. I've seen numerous reports from people who skipped the ending cutscene(s) prior to the 2.1 patch and don't have this issue, while others who skipped it after the 2.1 patch do have the issue.

I had the same issue,or so i was thinking about it, but 1 or 2 day later when i got back to the inn the cutscene was there so i think that if you skip it there may be a delay until it appear in the inn menu.No idea why however

I'll check that one later if I got, I made it pre-2.1 and also had to skip due whiners
