    Question new to FFX1V: how do i join a grand company...

    hi,im new to FFX1V...
    i wish to earn the choccobo,but i believe i have to join a GC,in order to do so...
    can someone help me out and advise me on how i do this please..thank you.
    im almost lvl 21...

    just follow the main story line i believe. It should make you go around and watch all the GCs speeches and such then you have to choose one in order to advance.

    You need to follow the main story quest - it will lead you to GC at level 20 main story quest (given by Minfilia at Waking Sands - Western Thanalan).

    Follow the main quest line, after you defeat the Ifrit Primal, the fire one, the 3 grand companies will show up wanting to recruit you. You will then be given the quest to go listen to the leaders talk. Once you do that you will return and make your choice on which grand company you want to join.
