This is exactly why I didn't partake in the beta last weekend. I played the first beta phase on my ps4 and was just astonished at the amount of detail and framerate I had been missing out on. I literally didn't play FFXIV on ps3 for about a week after that, it was so discouraging. I knew if I played last weekend it would just happen again, and I wouldn't want to play until full release for the ps4. Back when 1st beta happened, it was OK for me to take a break. I had already done the content I was able to do (pre 2.2 the only thing I hadn't done was t5), and the divebomb problem I had heard some people complain about for ps3 users steered me away from trying it. After experiencing great framerate and little to no latency whatsoever, I decided not to try t5 until I'm playing on ps4. I know it can be done on ps3, but I didn't like the possibility of wiping on a mechanic I couldn't see happen on time, because there is literally no way for me to get better in that situation.
But now I have myth to grind for my atma books. I can't take time off now!!!
Glad to see everyone else liking the ps4 as much as I did.
