You can dye the gear when you upgrade it to i110 though, so that's something.

You can only put 1 glamour on an item, right? So either my SMN and BLM wear the same thing and look boring (something I was hoping glamours would fix, not exacerbate), or one job is doomed to be a clown until 2.3.
RIP in peace, BLM.

well technically smn specific is green and blm specific really isn't black, more darker blues/purples, allagan has black but as base fabric and was covered in other color leathers and embroidery so the black was the least dominant color. Scholar was greens and purples for job specific and had very little white anywhere. Plus CT mage gear was bright red and the healer was dripping in gold so.....

I skipped the whole issue by getting a high allagan casting coat. Looks good and bis too, would recommend it.
I was excited to get the Evenstar Coat for my character (having never seen the tail with it) and when I put it on and saw her tail wrapped in leather and sticking up I was completely appalled that something like that could make it through design approvals. It's extremely inappropriate and vulgar and should really be fixed in a maintenance hotfix patch.
Having to glamour it isn't the solution, people put the time in to get new gear to wear, not cover it up with something old.
