New Alchemy Recipe mats

Man, i can't find any single new Alchemy mat recipe exept Vitriol.

Where the hell can i find Mossy stones? (axe, staff, claw ect).
Where can i find Weathered tome?

and so on. did anyone found out and would be glad to inform me? theres nothing written outta here. and Google knows nothing

I'm wondering this myself! I cant find that Mossy Stone for the life of me and i keep seeing GiantsGall weapons being sold on the AH! Drives me bonkers! I think the Retainer Quick venture seems about right but does that mean i need to have a DOW class as my retainer? I chose all DOL classes.

I haven't seen anyone receiving the mats for those yet but I can confirm some of those were brought back from Quick Ventures.

Yea i had thought about that possibility as well. Question is which type of Class brings back the weapons. We need a comprehensive Venture guide detailing which class' have a better chance at bringing back weapons as well as how geared our retainers need to be in order to do so. I personally only gear my retainer for the minimum amount of stats required. I'm thinking this may be the reason my 18h ventures yeild low value items.

My Miner seems to come back with housing items when I send him on Quick ventures. My Pugilist likes to come back either with fish, or materia.

I really would love to know just what they are thinking some day.

law, im still new at that, started it today, hoping i can findout if i can get anything usefull high level.

Could be worse. My retainer presented me with a fantastic rare Mischievous Mogbow i90 weapon... except I'm not a bard. Another one brought back some nice Darklight gear for the wrong class. FML.

I'm not sure that class matters. My retainer who came home with the i90 weapon is a Miner, at the time lvl 11. The one who gave me a Darklight hunting belt is a Conjurer and was between lvl 9 and 13, I can't recall exactly. Both were decked out in HQ BiS gear for their levels, including accessories even though I doubt that GP matters for retainers and that's all gathering accs have. Better safe than sorry.

Just now my lvl 10 botanist gave me Garuda's Scream, an i70 warrior weapon. I don't even have marauder\warrior unlocked, let alone leveled. Has anyone gotten useful mats from the quick venture yet? I don't like to keep wasting ventures when all I get are high level weapons I can't use and junk like some NQ Malm Kelp which isn't even used in crafting. Should I be sending them on something besides quick exploration if I want craft mats?
