    reinstalling

    Hi. I've got to reformat as I've got problems causing me slowdown in game. Is there a folder or something that holds everything I need to just put on an external HD, so I can just move that back and forth and play? Or do I need to re install the entire client again and download the patches?

    If it is possible to just copy the files/folders I need and start back up without re install, if so, what are they? Sorry I'm very bad with computers.

    Use the Launcher (a the bottom toolbar) Config > Backup Tool > Backup and save that somewhere. That will back up the client UI Settings - including hotbars, HUD layout and character configuration.

    For the game application itself, you can copy the whole game folder - wherever it is currently installed to.

    After reinstalling your OS, you may want to make sure you have up to date graphics driver and Direct X 9.0c installed before launching the game. You then can restore your user settings from where you saved to from earlier backup step.
