Adapt to the game. You obviously had a bad experience and want to take out your frustrations out here on something for a completely irrelevant reason. If you can't get your levels by means other than FATE's, you are doing something wrong. You chose to completely ignore the post that allowed lower level players to join their PT's, or tell lower level players to make their own PT if that's really what you have your heart set on doing. You cannot convince me that lower lvl players can't get Gold on FATEs because higher lvl players are doing them. Once again, you adapt. Don't use long-cast abilities, use Tab to target, use AoE like crazy, it doesn't matter, you are capable of keeping up. They have the same limitations as you.

Considering I have yet to see this on Hyperion (could just be luck. Though I haven't been to the standard FATE sites in a while), could it be possible this is just a Balmung thing?

Apparently this is a Balmung thing, so from Adamantiose, you don't have a say in this matter~ Thank you for dropping by though ^_^

I don't understand why people would boot low level players from their FATE farming party. Having someone in the party who's not eligible to receive an Atma doesn't prevent you from getting one. The drop isn't by party, it's determined individually. Proof of this is that I've seen 2 or even 3 people I was in a party with receive an Atma from the same FATE.

Even if you don't believe me that it's not 1 drop per party per FATE (seriously, it's really not), having someone in the party who can't receive it would improve your chances of getting it, no? People are really dumb sometimes.

It doesnt matter if its a lv45 fate, or a lv3 fate.

If a lv50 player wants to participate, they will have to hit the level sync button.

Instantly making their character the level the fate was DESIGNED for.

This means, that rather than rage at 'those durn lv50 folk who kill my fates too fast cuz they so high level'

We have ' Those durn folk who kill my fates'.

People, please, realize what you are truly mad about.

You are mad because there are a bunch of people playing with your toys, and you dont want to share.

But you forget that level synced equipment still has better stats than the equipment for made lower levels. (Stat-wise, ilvl 90 gear synced to 30 will still be superior in every facet than any level 30 gear of the same type).

Say a group of full ilvl 90+'s joins a FATE, their level synced stats gained from equipment are still a fair bit better than people at that level. Their damage output is more significant, and even with FATEs adjusting depending on how many participants were in the last one, they still burn really fast with overgeared levelsynced players.

Atmas are a bad example of grinding. They should make grinding fun again!

Even if they join Atma party, they are booted for other 50s to get an opportunity to get Atmas. Really? Is this how the game should be? Kicking low level players to encourage high levels to get their relic weapons?

These Atma farmings are in low level places. FATEs in low levels are really made for low levels, not lvl 50s.
This is a very good point, and what with PS4 launch incoming I imagine its going to get even worse.

Kind of saw this happening with ATMA current low drop rate.

Unless ATMA drop is at a decent rate to get a proper balance of lvl 50s from being stuck in 1 area too long there will be a lot of lvl 50s stuck in low level areas fighting the RNG God while low level players are left behind because the lvl 50s are swarming the FATEs.

When you are leveling your first lvl 1 to 50 class/Job it will still requires a few FATEs here and there to make it to your first lvl 50 but current ATMA quests has made a bit difficult for new players to join FATEs.

As of now I'm waiting to see how this issue will be handled once Relic ilvl 110 (2.3) and Relic ilvl 120 (2.4) is released.
