PLEASE let us use any macro icon we want again!

2.2 got rid of the old macro icons and replaced it with generic ones. Could we please get an option to use any icon we want?

/micon only let's us use icons for the skills that are currently only available to that class.

For example, I know Bulwark and Protect on my Paladin. If I use this macro:
/micon "Bulwark"
/ac "Protect"

It would show the icon for Bulwark but if I use it I would cast Protect.
BUT if I use this same macro as White Mage, the macro icon would change to some generic "M" icon (since I can't use Bulwark on WHM)

Could we get a command that would let us use any macro icon? Maybe something like:
/usemacroicon "__"

The new generic icons are limited and make it hard to customize/personalize our play style.

I'd love to use the "Pray" emote icon for the healer LB.
I'd love to use "Testudo" icon for Hallowed Ground.
I'd love to use the "Radiant Shield" pet icon for Protect.
I'd love to use the "Divine Breath" icon for Raise. etc.

you can already pull out emote icons by putting Emote at the end

but yes wider access to icons would be neato

The only icons I haven't figured out how to use yet are the icons for skills your current class/job can't use.

USAGE: /macroicon "icon name" "category"
Displays the specified icon. Can only be used in the first line of a user macro.

>>Categories:
action, pet, companion
general, mount, minion
gearset, emote, marking

Category defaults to action when none is specified.
