The Forum Troll mob. They the absolute worst![]()
During the beast tribe quests you can't take 3 steps without getting aggroed by annoying mobs that just slow you down. And dammit they're too high level to be just ignored too so you end up slaying a wave of enemies for pretty much every quest point you have to interact with.
I wish I had a nuclear explosion aoe that i could just spam for a while to clear the trash from these areas. Getting double teamed by treants and then the poison spewing flower before you even get to interact with the action point in the middle of them is one of those things that makes my head explode.

That one basilisk that patrols the area right in the middle of the level 50 mining nodes in Northern Thanalan makes my life as a miner very difficult. Man, it's like you'd think all I did there was dig up her eggs to make whetstones or something. I'll have you know that's only what I'm doing about 5% of the time!

Dravnanian Outwalkers from Stone Vigil. They use their frontal cone AoE just about every 10s. Oh you dodged it? lol here's another one.
Or Microchus, because Rafflesia.
I'm surprised no one has said Sahagin's yet.
You think Sylphs are bad? Sahagin's are worse. Unlike Sylphs, going anywhere near the Sapsa grounds is guaranteed to aggro a few of them (Whereas Sylph had unpatrolled roads). Also, unlike sylphs that start casting, they just do their instant Water-Canon as soon as they see you. What's that, the first shot didn't slow you? its ok, they can fire like 3 more times before you are out of range.
I pity anyone who's already going into the tier 2 Sahagin quests.

Halitostroper up in Sorrel Haven, Central Shroud. It's a morbol the size of a skyscraper. @A@
It's only level 31 while I'm level 50 and I STILL give those a wide berth. So scary!

All the mobs are pretty much identical now, so I don't hate any of them.
It's not like you need to pay attention to stun/silence their worst moves or anything like that any more. You just watch for the AOE and sidestep.
Used to be that Impish Incantations, for example, could nearly one-shot someone of equal level, so you really had to pay attention for it and save stun/silence for it.
Mobs used to have different behaviours such as running away when you weapon skilled, or following you because they were curious, or entering an 'alert' state without actually aggroing.
Morbols are one of the few distinctive mobs left just because their AOE stacks so many debuffs. They are actually my favourite mobs because of this.

Nix for me. Just running past, minding my own business, then I feel like I hear Scorpion from MK shouting "GET OVER HERE!"
Enemy caster types who, while giving chase (and thus MOVING), cast spell after spell at me as I am just trying to pass through.

This.I'm surprised no one has said Sahagin's yet.

Also, the only thing of equal or more annoyance is any Bard/Archer type. Remember the King FATE in Quarrymill? Oh the ownage that was.. so many dead bodies.. Also they do autoattack damage + their dots (venomous bite) which is double the chance of heavy. You are almost guaranteed to get double heavy running through any BRD/Archer mobs. Hopefully there isn't 2 of them in a chain of eachother.. cause you won't be going anywhere fast.
The beastman in Southern Thanalan have their moments with this if anyone has spent much time traveling around there..
