Blm is not behind brd on single target fights. What numbers do you hit with sustained dps?
I am not talking about turn 4 aoe inflated dps. What numbers do you hit on turn 5, 6 or 7? What numbers do you hit for EX primals?
Seems like BLM is always way behind good mnks, drgs, and brds when it comes to single target fights.
Turn 5 : ~320
Turn 6 : ~295
Turn 7 : 260, only 1 kill
Turn 8 : ~35 dps behind mnk
Titan ex : ~270
Havent done levi ex yet
I'm gonna go ahead and assume your RNG was pretty good on that T6. You can't say BLM do that number of DPS on this fight because BLM is the RNG class. If you have good luck with procs, you will perform well but if you get crappy/average RNG, you will be behind other DPS unless it's an AoE fight where you will perform well.
What hurts BLM is losing procs from double procs. This is a stupid mechanic and requires a fix.

300 on t7, 310 on t8. I have seen 360 on t8, but RNG is not strong with me.
Up to 400 in T5 with echo, so about 350 without??

While i can agree single target we are behind some (not all) classes.
And for aoe situations we don't perform "well", no other class comes near blm dmg when it comes to multiple targets
Lately i have been having instances were after a flare> transpose i do not get a mana tick, even after waiting.
Thinking either lag issues at my end or the server. I also agree that blm is sort of rng as Firestarter or thundercloud can be random but hey when they do proc we are way up there in dmg![]()

I'm not sure if anyone has posted this or not but I've noticed that flare does roughly the same amount of dmg as long as you have 1000+ mp so I try to time a couple of fires in beforehand if I can . but this is just my observation no counter used so correct me if I'm wrong please

That would be because flare dmg does not matter if you have 1000 mp or 20, it remains the same (if you were to just cast flare for example). At least what i observed and read anyhowI'm not sure if anyone has posted this or not but I've noticed that flare does roughly the same amount of dmg as long as you have 1000+ mp so I try to time a couple of fires in beforehand if I can . but this is just my observation no counter used so correct me if I'm wrong please
Myself i used to use flare when lower in mp but find myself using it after 1 full rotation now so after my mp is charged back up
You need at least 300+ MP to cast Flare but yeah damage of that flare is the same if you're in the same Fire/Ice conditions, with the same buffs, with the same stats as potency doesn't depend on MP. I'sh, watch for the Astral Fire III buff. Sometimes if you click Transpose too quick, it doesn't register you as having Fire stacks and thus doesn't change to Umbral Ice. This mostly happens with lag when you try to Flare -> Transpose -> mana tick -> 2s -> Flare. I have had no problems with it so you might want to consult your ISP.

t5: 320 overall encdps (this was last night with the echo buff)
t6: 292 (this week)
t7: most of my attempts have me anywhere from 256-330 (haven't cleared yet/depends heavily on rng)
titan: i've done titan on blm once, next time i get in on a sell run i'll come as blm and edit with my numbers
leviathan: i usually do this on scholar, i'll try it as a blm and edit with my numbers

You need 266 or more MP for Flare. Potency does not change based on MP spent at all.
DPS numbers really don't mean much at the moment considering everyone is gearing up again and will see different results because of it.
