problems with the chat screen on PS4?

Lol my chat screen is to far off on the right side of my screen.
What's worse is that it's stuck at 50% size so it covers 1/4 of screen.
Its too far into my screen's right field of vision so i can't even re size it lol!
Lived with it ever since last december.

I think a fix for that would be to go into hud settings and restore the chatbox to default. It may fix the problem.
