Thief cant be a job, unless they changed what they said earlier about things from previous games -only- being available as jobs.

I don't see any good reason why they wouldn't do that, actually. That *was* the job > upgraded job direction in Final Fantasy I.

oh it was? i am not that big on knowledge of pre-7 (playing iii and iv android versions atm) i was just going off FFXI THF and NIN and how different they were..

I would defo prefer what someone said a few posts up: a class and then THF and NIN branching off, maybe have Yugiri as the Job Quest giver for NIN and Thancred for THF

if they're smart they will make it so the points aren't tied to BOTH classes, and they'll go Rouge >NIN or THF options!
