Instead of complaining maybe you should fill out a report on the bug report forums and see if this is intended or not. It seems highly unreasonable to expect someone to change their GC and lose all progress with it for the sake of this quest.

Make sure to fill out the entire template as they'll just close the thread if you don't.

some people aren't so lucky with rng as you are. my friends have farmed fates for 30 hours or so and are only halfway done, if that. i chose not to do the quest yet, but for the majority of people, you can't just do it in a day

You, like many of the others saying that the current state of the atma gathering is just fine, have gotten VERY lucky with being able to get them so quickly. Myself I am at about 40 hours of fate grinding and have less than half of them to show for it and am still in better shape than a lot of other people.

That is the problem that many have with this quest, one person could get them all in just a few hours while it could take another person 100+ hours. The players could be doing the exact same thing and be just as geared, skilled, whatever as each other its just one person got lucky and the other got screwed.

I am okay with a bit of variance created by RNG usage, but this level of disparity is quite extreme.

That and grinding low level fates for hours on end is boring as hell.

God i really hate your kind tbh. Done in one day? I'll assume you didn't even spend 24hrs right? Well, i'm @ 26 or 27 hours right now without a single drop, Yes i've got my weapon equiped and yes i did the quest up in arms.
Just because you were freaking lucky doesn't mean everyone is. And i'm sure there are ALOT more people who spend WAY more time then me and are probably just as far as i am right now.
