    @ OP Well of course hardly anyone comments about the systems in place that are actually working, this goes for any game. If something is working perfectly, you don't notice it - and that's the point.

    I think we can all agree that crafting is the system that needs the least attention considering the other issues present in the game.

    the only thing we need is sped up animations, or perhaps something more instant after we choose the option for the synth
    thats about as far as ill go with changing it, cuz as it, its just as fast if not faster to level it then ANY combat job

    remember, you gain on average 20-30k sp per hour soloing a craft
    can you do that with combat?


    so its not really slow at all compared to combat, its just....solo

    i'm satisfied with current crafting speed. Because if animations were faster/shorter we would have latency problems like we do with gathering, having to wait the game communicate with server.

    A good way of fixing it, though, would be instead of receiving a RNG answer every time you pick a synthesis, having it at client side so we could have an option of turning animation off or, at least, receiving the RNG answers in batches so you would only communicate once, having all other computatios at client side. This also would work for gathering.

    But i do prefer keeping the craft as it is...the safier the better...would be a shame they removing communication to speed-up the process and this ending with people hacking synths for 100% success, etc like they did in FFXI with ja recasts.
