We need a response from Yoshi about the Atma quest.

I'm fortunate on that because I just persuade my fiance to run them alongside me and keep me healed up while we both use our chocobos, I don't really need a whole lot of people to be there to help me with them that way, all of the boss FATEs I was able to easily kill with my damage and her Aero dot, lol.

12 mins with 4 bosses to clear, 3 mins to down one. You'd probably need some friends or FC mates to help you, ideally at least 5-6 persons with chocobos doing it.

Because up until that point they were fine with the game and the forum accounts don't have the same registration date as the actual game accounts. I've been playing since the 2.0 relaunch, and until the Atma stuff came up I never felt the need to register here.

If you want to find a user list or better yet go back through User IDs on the view profile page you might be able to see how many players joined in March and April to post about Atma. That might be a worthwhile metric though it'd be a little tainted by people joining because of the patch. I mean it's always tempting to just insist you're the majority but you have no way to demonstrate it and probably won't bother. There isn't always a mob proportionately sized to how upset you are there backing you up.

Something everyone seems to forget, is that for every ONE person who complains. your going to get another dozen who just never come back. But before anyone gets all over me I know of at least 4 people in my friends list who are not coming back due to the terrible rng, lottery that is atma framing, and ok its great to say that there are alternatives but if you cant clear titan ex, there goes one option, and the other two you have to clear t5 and get to the tier in second coils, so till you get either of those your sort of screwed. But also lets not forget you need the tomestone AND the sands of time to get the better version of your class weapon.

so for everyone spouting that there are better alternatives, yes there are but if you have both of those road blocks your dead in the water and can only get atma weapons(if you get all your stones). but something else i would like to point out is that the zenith and the atma are the same, the only difference is ilvl....

I think a lot of people's hate of this quest would of been alleviated if it wasn't the fact it is the relic upgrade quest which means eventually everyone is going to need it done. I am guessing SE made this quest for casual players (although the rng part was a horrible way to implement it) so they would have an end game weapon option. The way they should of went about it was made the new weathered weapons the zodiac quest and made a new quest for relic upgrade include some difficulty and real end game content. If it was not for the simple fact it is the relic upgrade quest, I would skip this mess entirely and use the alternatives.

I am no stranger to long rng grinds (took two years to get homam pants and thf avf2 gloves to drop) but the difference is those RNG benefited other people and myself. This RNG grind provides no real benefit(gil and seals. gil is useless for me and seals just yield me more gil), and will be needed to do in the future
