New(ish) NA FC Punch the Sky looking for like-minded endgame players (recruiting!)

Hello, Excalibur! My Second Coil group and I (who are, by the way, all from North America - some west coast, others east coast) recently decided to create a new FC, to see if we could find other players with similar interests. Basically, we'd like to meet some new folks who are interested in clearing content that isn't locked out (everything other than Second Coil, basically) - either for wins or for farming - when they aren't busy doing Second Coil. My SC group has odd play times (in relation to each other), so we are a little limited on when all of us can get together and do things as our static.

So! We're looking for folks who are skilled and are either experienced or good learners. Please note that we aren't trying to fill a spot in our SC static, nor are we looking to place anyone into an SC static. If we get big enough, you might be able to network with other members to form an SC static if you don't have one already, or you might be able to ask us to use our contacts (since many of us have many LSes, and are on friendly terms with folks in other FCs) to see if there's anyone looking around for someone to join their static.

Also understand that we are just starting out (with this particular FC), so if you're looking for something established already, we probably aren't for you. Hopefully the investment will be worthwhile (for you), but I understand it's not for everyone. All I can say is that while anyone (who meets our requirements, detailed in the link at the bottom) can join (automatically, we don't vote or anything), the only members we retain will be the skilled ones, so once we get rolling, you should be guaranteed that if you do anything with anyone in the FC, they will either get it done, or be very willing and able to learn how to get it done. If we think you're not working out, we'll be polite about it. No hard feelings either way.

If you want full details other than the preceding, you can check out this thread on our forums (link below). If you have any questions, feel free to post here, on our forums, or contact me in-game. I'll check back on this thread regularly. Thank you for reading, and good luck finding what you're looking for!

Roughly once a week, I'll post some random additional information about our group or its members. I'm not the type to just type in "bump" and leave it at that. Shameless!

So, what do we do when we're not doing stuff like Second Coil, since our SC group can't all play together at the same time all week long?

A few of us enter DF and PF to try to get random stuff done, like get random pieces from Binding Coil, or from Extreme Primals. I had never gotten all the caster drops from T2, T4, and Garuda EX (I had actually never even SEEN casting ring from Garuda, after dozens of runs... drop rate for body and pants were almost as bad - still never seen the mount, somehow), so I decided to torture myself in PF for both. Eventually got the Coil stuff in PF, but didn't get Garuda done until some random DF.

I'm not sure why, but every PF I joined for Garuda, despite it clearly being labeled NOT a learning party, at least one of the tanks had absolutely NO IDEA what to do. This one guy tomahawk chucked the spiny to death like it owed him money, then tried to play it off like someone else hit it after he "lost threat" (as if he was going to lose threat after dealing like 90% or so of its HP). I kind of hope he was trolling us, and didn't actually think he was doing it right. Multiple runs for the lo...lz!?

Half the time, I just join for the lolz. Some of the best stuff happens when no one knows what they're doing, or never will. It's still surprising, though, because almost nothing about this game is particularly hard. The most difficult thing is finding other people who feel the same way. Because a ton of folks seem to think everything ever is terribly difficult.
