And at least the dragon monster complains while he gets killed instead of just standing there doing nothing.

This would deffinitely wake up the party lol
I do have plans to play Tera when it comes out if FFXIV still looks crappy. Deep down as a ffxi player who played it for 6+ years, I want FFXIV to succeed. I just do not see it competing with new upcoming MMOs even when everything is "fixed", especially if all they add is auto attack. Simply telling someone to go "hey, if you don't like it leave, and go play something else" is very detrimental to the life of the game, and guess what? I'm not alone when I leave, a lot of people will leave, and I'm not talking about just people I know. A lot of the new stuff coming look just amazing and much more fun than what we have now. Then, when there is only a handful of you left, they will pull the plug.Hey Dyne,
If you want dodge and action MMORPGs, then play other MMORPGs that have dodge and are action MMOPRGs instead of trying to change a game's battle system that has already been redone. They decided on AA, so you're getting AA. If you don't like that, don't play Final Fantasy XIV. It's not going to work, the Dev Team is not going to change it again, and like I said before, if you don't like the combat system... don't play Final Fantasy XIV. Go play one of the new MMORPG coming out like you say. Why play something you don't like? Why change something that as already been changed?
No, it is not tedious, in fact, it is actually fun or it can be very frustrating as well. Fighting something for 30minutes to over an hour that is very capable of one shotting everyone is very thrilling and very fulfilling in the end when all your hardwork is paid off. Tedious is when you do the same crap every single day like leves or going thru cumbersome menus.

I hope you know that the 9800 GT and the 8800 GT are basically the exact same card. The 9800 GT is just a rebadged version of the 8800 GT. >_>Yeah, they need to make the engine a whole lot more efficient and use less resources. FFXIV actually has a much higher minimum system requirements than Tera. FFXIV needs 9800 gt, Tera only needs 8800 gt, yet Tera looks just as good if not better in the graphics department, much faster, much flashier.

And another thing,
I don't know how many of you have done the R45 dungeon yet, but there is the floating eye mob that follows you arround. You can see him charging up to do and AoE but it's so difficult to get out of the way. Even running out the way is difficult.
Why you ask? BECAUSE YOU GET STUCK MID-ANIMATION.
There needs to be a way for us to dodge quickly out the way of AoE's.
Moles and eyes and Peiste are all really annoying because sometimes you get stuck and cannot dodge their AoEs.

Why did everyone think this one patch will suddenly change everything? It's called a frame work, the game was released a mess and this patch is fixing it all up. Why do people not realize that?
Oh, look... it's THIS thread again...
