So tank says they are tired and want to go straight through, otherwise they would have to leave and go to sleep, and you wanted to do side rooms/optionals. Comes off like they were being pretty reasonable, and you weren't willing to compromise. They were offering you an option that would have allowed them to stay, because it often takes a while to replace a tank for an in progress dungeon. If you didn't want it then why not just say so?

As a tank, sounds like someone basically said, "My way or the highway" when the rest of the group wanted to do something else. But yeah sure, close enough.

What compromise? The guy says "don't kill mobs or I'm leaving". There's no room for compromise. The tank's a jerk who wanted an easy roulette.
