Dear SE my FFXIV payments have FATIGUE!

yeah... probly not gonna resub when my crysta runs out but i would like to share with SE why and maybe they can use info like this to make better choices, as i am with my money. took a 6 month break befor this 2 months probly take another 6er.

    1. why remove fatigue in 1.0 just to put it back in at 2.0 with a 450 a week cap?
to me its the same mistake.

    2. why do you keep releasing content based off ping and movement! stop selling out to the west! get back to your roots! im from the west we already have that crap! we dont want it either!

    3. why the need for ilvl? why not just make content for the damn level you are on?

    4. you dont need to reinvent the wheel! why make dps whms? we have jobs for dps.

    5. blm probbly got the biggest nerf in xiv then any other ff title. then again smn got pretty boned too. nobody wants to hang out with egi's or poor mimic avatars. or cast 7-10 blm spells, out of 100's.

    6. bards what to play music not shoot arrows. one of SE str's is the music you have brought to your games. some of the best imo. why not take advantage of it?

    7. community. just read the posts after this one.

    flame on!

Totally agree with #2 and #6

    #3 however and #5 I disagree with

and I play WHM, I do not DPS unless there is no healing to be done....so, not sure what this was about.

But, seriously, the ping mechanics of Titan make it a test of your ISP and not a test of your equipment or even your "skill". Loved playing last night on Titan Ex and seeing that problem slightly alleviated for the first time in six months; however, I have this ominous feeling the test of my ISP will show up again in later challenges =/

Also, Archers should have become any number of bow based jobs from FF; I completely agree that Bards were robbed of their rightful place within the FF universe and now serve an awkward role in the current one.

    Ya, I'm bored...

    1. To limit the content because the Dev team can't possibly keep up with the player base. Alternative methods include heavy grinds (also included in this game for some content). Also, the fatigue system was far worse...

    2. You want boss fights that don't require movement?

    3. Creating content based on character level is much harder to fine tune for higher difficulty fights. iLvL is a means to replace the leveling process where it can simplify the growth of a character to allow boss fights to have strict mechanical guidliness that need to be followed. There our other ways to work this process but they all have their own pitfalls as well.

    4. uh, what?

    5. This one jumped all over the place, I'm not sure what the complaint even is.

    6. Oh, god damnit....

    7. You got me!

    Always remember the Silver Rule:

#6 makes me refuse to believe he isn't trolling. That is just too hilarious of a complaint to be serious.

i think it is worse i will be sitting here for 5 days.
its not that i want boss fights with out movement. its that i want boss fight that have a better chance win due to gear and stats and not isp.
so i should ask less for my money?
    huh?
i dont see how job depth is a bad thing. oh you dont wanna look at 100 spells? thats the arguement? really?

The interactive bosses are awesome. Allowing you free movement in FFXIV but then neglecting to make use of the mechanic would be far worse.

I guess as someone who has no latency issues, it's really only a good thing for me. Sucks everyone can't enjoy a great boss fight though.

Your friends are kind of slow then...seeing as the prerequisite for Bard is Archer, which is most definitely a DPS starter.

If they wanted to be a support class, why on earth didn't they pick Conjurer or Arcanist?

I enjoy my songs on Bard. It's a great feeling to be able to sacrifice my DPS for the sake of allowing the other 3-7 people on my team to increase their efficiency.
