    Thanks, good to know that it's just a temporary thing. I was worried that people were locked out of the legacy servers. I'll just have to keep trying.

    I live in Japan so I don't really know what time it is in the US, but I think night time will be starting around now? I'll give it another go every 30 minutes.

    To an extent, I understand why SquareEnix are doing it (to encourage new players to join the emptier worlds, I guess), but it's frustrating for those of us who want to join existing players (some kind of invite system would surely make sense).

    It was 23:34 PST when you made your post. Mine is going up at 00:49. So yes, the servers should be pretty empty for the next 6 hours.
