Please do not do what happen the ps2 and cut it at ps3. pc and p4 or better now.

How about no. I'll be getting the PS4 version when it comes out, but I know a lot of people who don't have a PS4, are playing it on PS3 as they don't have a strong enough PC to run it and don't see the PS4 worth a purchase yet. Don't leave those people out. Its too early for it.

First of all, the 'limitations' you speak of are from both PS3 AND lower spec PC's.

Secondly, you admire the PS4 version which was built even with PS3 'limitations' in mind. So what's the problem?

Thirdly, the PS4 will 'hold the game back' before long too. Should support for that be cut in a few years also?

Last of all, the platform you want to cut off (and all of those people) are a large part of what made the game a success in the first place. Get a goddamn grip man.

I have played on PC since day one and yesterday I went to a friends house to activate my PS3 version so I could get the free upgrade on PS4 and I now feel so sorry for my friend playing on PS3 as it looked horrible. Framerate was choppy and loading between zones took so long, however this morning I got on the PS4 and that was miles better. Graphics are very much comparable to the PC version, the framerate was loads better and even loading zones didn't take much longer than on my PC so overall very impressed with it.

that would be pretty unfair (possible even illegal) towards the people who bought ps3 versions of the game and pay subscriptions , since they were selling ps3 versions a long term support has to be guaranteed

OMFG been on ps4 for few hrs now and holy bleep the PS3 sucks balls with the lag , game on ps4 there no lag and there actually stuff, that only pc used to see that on ps3 you never even seen before, and game looks WTF, I played on ps3 , but just making your self and those on the ps3, worthless now you see why all the pc players use be like why the heck never dodge the enemy. When on the PS3 it would show moved but not other stuff there. but there was limits on the rest of the game ps3 game that would hamper the party. Just look all the trees that on the ps3 you would never see and a mob on the ps3 would cause you to since do not see the tree, the mob would hit you 20 times and think was lag.

Actually not illegal since you sign a TOS and says at anytime they can shut it down.
