Is this for real? Wow.. all this time!I had been self-repairing my gear by right-clicking the item and clicking repair from the dropdown menu. It's super tedious, especially when you try to find things you need to repair in the armory chest. Well today on a whim I right-clicked the repair icon in the actions and traits window. It brings up repair UI that's just like the NPC one... including an option to 'Repair all".

For the first month and a half after launch I didn't realize those small aetherytes around town where a connected teleport system. Doh!
I learned recently that there is a reason why it lists which city the retainers are based in when you're buying off the market board. If you're in Limsa and the retainer you're buying from is in Ul'Dah or Gridania, you have to pay a fee. If the retainer is also in Limsa, you don't have to pay anything extra! I've saved SO MUCH GIL since learning this. /facepalm
omfg the same happend to me, i even wrote the pricetags lmaoIt took me several months to realize you can look at an items market history through the retainer "Sell item on the market board" window. I still have a bunch of useless notepads lying around where I was taking notes of the marketboard for item prices...
It also took me all of beta to realize that there was threat bar indicators under the party frames icons. That was an epiphany that made the planets align.
It took me ages to realise I didn't need to logout in the inn to get rest bonus, I always made sure I was in the inn then friend told me "you know all cities, towns, outposts are classed as rested zones right"...
To your credit in the beginning your friend was only partly right. In the 2.0 days cities did not count, but Inns did. That was changed in 2.1.
See that's what I thought, I was away working during 2.1 and only came back in 2.2 and I was sure you had to be in the inn, thanks for the clarification
