Many of my friends think you have to go back to your GC in the main city to turn in supply mission stuff. You don't; the GC outpost guys (Hawthorne Hut, Moraby Drydocks, Camp Drybone, Costa, etc.) all accept turn ins no matter your affiliation.

Another one just last night... not so much as a "D'oh!" moment, but more a "Wha... how...?" moment.

Last night, I was doing roulette and the moment I entered I was like "Oh, Cutter's Cry! I haven't been here for a while." Then something weird... the map was not explored at all! I only recognized it's Cutter's Cry because of 1.0 and I was there before. Turns out, I have never entered the dungeon before in 2.0 and I was the one they were referring to when it said "one of your member is new to this dungeon"... T_T

I played in 1.0 and got a few jobs up to mid-30's or so, MNK was my first to 50 in ARR and was delighted. Embarrassingly however I only learned that the word flank does not mean from behind approx 2 months ago lol. I had been doing all of my rotations from the rear of the mobs all this time, no wonder my DPS was so low. It also took me a while to understand the different forms of monk, spamming arm of the destroyer on ADS in t1, not understanding why it didn't proc. Also using dragon kick as a combo opener wondering why it didn't debuff the mobs.

It's a really good idea to learn your job properly!

Also a request (maybe because i am lazy but it's kinda confusing in the config menus) I play with an xbox controller on the PC and i want to be able to cycle through party members with up and down on the d-pad for my party members and left and right for enemies. What is the config for this? I can only find it with using the shoulder buttons as well but this is akward to use

Found out just before heading to work today, L1 + right stick does, in fact, allow you to zoom in/out.

As a workaround, you can make a simple one-line macro:

/levelsync on

And then just put that on your hotbar

Or without the "on" part if you want to be able to toggle.

When leveling weaver, I would always go weave in the actual guild, since it's out of the way and quiet. Every day I was there, I noticed tons of players "welcoming" people. Without really thinking about the names, I started to just believe that everyone in the weaver's guild was super social and nice and that welcoming people who came into the guild was weaver tradition or something.

So I started welcoming everyone who came in.

Last night, I suddenly remembered out of the blue that one early quest had you welcoming a bunch of NPCs to join the weaver's guild. NO. The weavers in this game are not somehow magically more welcoming than other classes! DDDD;

I just realized you can access each city/states ayethernet from the main aytherite... I used to run to the nearest one after teleporting to the city/state.
