Disabling the "Set+" Hotbar?

I use a gamepad and I absolutely cannot find a way to disable the new hotbar that pops up when using the cannons in Castrum Meridianum. I disabled the pet hotbar but I cannot find anything for this hotbar. Does anyone know how to get rid of it? It's a minor inconvenience but it's annoying having that hotbar pop up in the middle of my screen above my cross hotbar that already has the ability on it. I realize that I could move it but that doesn't really "fix" the problem.

Devices like those require the pet bar. You can try enabling the "Hide Unassigned slots" option in your character config.

That way when you use cannons, devices, etc only the button will show and not the entire hot bar.

Well I hope they "fix" it because when you use a gamepad it automatically switches to the "Set+" bar when using said devices and there is zero need for anything else to pop up and/or be used. Thank you though. I will try that for the time being.
