Chocobo Customization!! What you think?!!

I think this is a neat idea too. Final Fantasy 7 did great with giving us the option to raise different breeds of chocobos, that gave different colours and abilities. I remember spending hours on end trying to get a golden chocobo (which I did get in the end!) and it was a blast doing so.

Also, adding to the Chocobo racing mentioned before, that's a great mini-game to add to this game too! FF7 did that as well and it was fun! You race and get prizes if you win! :'D Ahhhh the good old days on the PS1... lol

I like this idea too! Any type of customization would be welcome. Whether you let us do a "character creator" like approach and change our chocobo's color, tip color, height, weight, beak length, etc, or just letting us breed and get different colors that way. Hopefully you guys add chocobo raising and let us level up our chocobos in different ways!

I really appreciate you guys for your support. Also each one if your ideas I loved. It would be amazing to customize your own chocobo and race it against others and breeding them with other player chocobo even probably gaining some of that chocobo stats like in ffxi. Bedside all these cute chocobo bardings we have, they need pretty colors to match. Let us make our own unique chocobo SE

I'd like to see it too, at least a way to customize main color and highlight (in the same way as character hair)

But before that, i'd like to see a way to reset skill point on chocobo (or make the tank branch better, he is useless as it stand, can't even keep agro from me aero-ing mobs >__<)

Glad to see this idea already has its own thread, as I wanted to suggest something similar. More types of barding are certainly welcome, such as a set which prominently displays one's Free Company emblem and colors, similar to the Grand Company barding. However, to really help make your bird stand out from the rest, changing the color of its plumage would be even better! Ideally, there would be several areas of its body which could be colored independently with separate base color and highlight (head, body, wings, tail, legs) but if that is too complex, a single base color and highlight which cover the whole bird is acceptable. Perhaps the existing dyes could be used to make these alterations?

Also, yes, a way to reset or redistribute a chocobo's rank points would be most welcome. I have been calling for an Amnesia Greens item for just such a purpose.

Oh, and as for quest titles, those are fun and easy. How about "Let's Hear It For the 'Bo"? "Raising a Chocobo is Hard Wark"? "Standing Out From the Flock"? "A Certain Je Ne Sais Kweh"?
