Whats with all the RNG?

If you want people to get X item in Y time. Then design it that way.
I thought this game was moving away from the bad RNG design you see in past MMOs but almost everything in patch 2.2 aka the Korean Patch - regresses back to that.

calling this a "korean" patch is a bit extreme, now if they removed all quests after lvl 30, made every story quest require a full group (without duty finder support), made drops in coil 5% (as in 95% of the time you just get gil) THEN you could justify calling it that.

lol @ 200 fates. I did over 1200 fates for my atmas. Probably way more but I stopped counting at 1200

or more, for the first couple weeks i farmed 5+ hours a day. now i just do it an hour or two a night when I'm bored, I've been hitting outer La Noscea for Atma of the Lion for the last several weeks, I know ive done over 100 fates and ive got literally dozens of the mythril/titanium/electrum shield drops from the fates there, still nothing.

I would like a 100 max...then atma is auto. Retain the RNG prior to that, but.

Can we make that rule apply to everything with RNG?

Attempt 200 melds, next one is success. Run dungeon, or trial 200 times, guaranteed item of choice, without worrying about roll. Might as well make everything token based.

Wrong. People are fine with part 2 myth runs is not a big deal because there is a goal you can see.
