If we have to wait in lines for dungeons with the current population..... I can see many quitting this game for good.

What makes me log out is that the only things I can do to progress areThe real bummer for me...and probably many others who log back in to check out 1.18+ ...the world still sucks the big ones. The one thing that makes me want to log out more then anything, the dull copy/paste world. Just logging in and seeing that crappy dessert again just gets me down.
Good lord i hope they fix the world sooner then later, nothing kills solid combat and content then a lifeless world.
1: Leves, only every 36 hours, which are all basically just enhanced grinds
and
2: Straight up grinding, which gives pathetic XP/SP.
My thoughts exactly. The world feels empty and lifeless. Even running around Ul'dah and seeing all the players around, it needs something else. More NPCs? A little more color? Who knows, but everything seems so...dull.
And reading the expectations about the patches and whatnot. I don't see this being addressed any time soon.

I wasn't even aiming it at him lol, I actually agreed with some of the points he made, but he seemed to think I was targetting him. Ah well.
He also did mention might have 1 or 2 day delays... :O just saying ^_^
Reading all of the trolls and painfully pessimistic comments about the game that offer nothing valuable to the forum discussions makes me think of the recent episode of Southpark where Stan thinks everything looks and sounds like crap.
i'm hoping that with him giving a date the majority of people can at least stop until then. hopefully if there is a delay he at least puts out a letter saying so and that the new expected date is whatever time he feels it is right. i know set information, like a date, i am more willing to wait than i am going off pure speculation.

Another fact about the new guildleves needs to be acknowledged. Previously the guildleve itself did not yield any reward towards leveling, only gil and faction credits-- possibly some items. The sole sp bonus from guildleves came from leve-linking and stacking Guardian's Aspect on top of those links, which basically made leve completion invaluable towards leveling itself. As you have stated, the link bonus is being reduced while the maximum number of links to be increased, meaning that the sp bonus may remain very similar to what it has been considering that all members possess the same leve. It is possible that utilizing the maximum leve-link bonus, combined with actually finishing the leve to obtain the sp reward, will yield the same amount of sp as before. The problems here are finding a full party with the exact same leves and having to forfeit failing the leves in order to obtain the same ones for next time. The population on Selbina is not low, I expect lines the day of dungeons for sure. People who haven't logged on in months with log back on, and selbina is already crowded without the quitters.
Can i have word if leve linking will be totally ruined by 1.18? they say "reduced sp bonus per kill" but "increase maximum number of links" maybe "me thinks" guildleves will be less sp but in a group with maximum links will still be worth it. I anyway hope its like that, they should make guildleves solo but after they have party content solidified. Making solo content better than party content at any point is an "imbalance" to "we're going for everyones play style" and telling us "solo people are more important to us right now" even when its summer lol, and they know people are gonna be ready to party it up.
Also, we do not exactly know if the raids will be the new method of partying for sp. That of course, is up in the air at the moment. If this new team is smart, they will have implemented some sort of new method for partying. If not, it's just going to be more backlash.
