That's a weird way of thinking, considering that people complaining on this forum are the only ones in the world that actually give a sh*t about this game... so if us that belived in SE and in FF14 at the point of waiting for a year won't be satisfied I really doubt that anyone else would ever be.

Actually I know a lot of people who are playing this game and avoid these forums, especially General, like the plague. They don't want to deal with all the complaining and the whining. The trolling and the flame wars. Sometimes it's just not worth it for the few decent posts you'll get that might discuss something. A lot of the people who are on these forums a lot admit themselves that they don't play much if at all anymore.

At any rate I know for a fact no matter what this patch contains there will be rivers of tears and raging tempers on these forums. Not much Yoshida or anyone else can do about it, some people will never be happy no matter what we get.

Personally I'm just trying to be positive and have a little hope for this game. I trust the dev team and I'm sure they'll make the right decision. I don't always like the decisions they make but I get over it. I like the general direction the game is going in so I can deal with a few decisions I personally don't like.

Has it been a long time? Yes and it's been delayed a few times. Nothing I can personally do about it though, it'll get here when it gets here. Not even all the whining in the world could even change it.

And you're absolutely right in saying that, but don't you also think that if everyone just stopped posting and never told the devs and the company how dissapointed they are it'd be fine? You don't think we have a right to complain about the broken promises, the pointless schedules and the utter lack of communication?

Don't get me wrong I tire myself from complaining sometimes, but there are days like this where I'd do anything to just tell a dev directly how dissapointed I am and I think I would be speaking for a lot of people in doing so.
