While it may not 'slow him down' maybe you should give the guy a break?

This one was just utter disappointment though. It's also crazy how he says July 21st as if this was the best date possible and manages to slip in another delay of a couple of days like it's never been delayed before.
People are crying in this thread because he covered his bases and said "July 21st. OR, depending on if we think it needs more balancing, the 22nd. Probably. Maybe the 23rd."
Instead of "July 21st. Definately. No more delays. This patch." And if it got delayed mass hysteria on the forums.
You need to learn to chill out.

I can guarantee you 100% he's not reading any of this and thus I find no need to "give the guy a break". It's not like he's spending his days weeping in sorrow because some people on the internet don't like him or what he's doing. You say that like I'm personally attacking him or something, when I've never even mentioned him directly in any of my complaints (that I remember of).
There would be mass hysteria regardless, I can guarantee you that. I'm not complaining over that couple of days part, I thought that was clear enough but I guess not.
And you need to learn that I'm an adult and I don't need life advice from you. I'm perfectly chill, but thanks?
The problem with that is that "constructive criticism" so far has gone straight over their heads and has gotten nothing but responses like "we'll look into it".
And for the record, I play the game and I like the game. In fact I can guarantee you the majority of the people that complain here still play it a lot, in hopes that it'll get better. I know I do. It's also fairly ironic I play the game way more than these guys attacking me and telling me to chill out. It's really funny in fact. (Not talking about you obviously)

I agree, though I don't think Colino is complaining as much as others in this thread, but just saying that people have a right to complain, which is also right. While it may not 'slow him down' maybe you should give the guy a break?

The only issue I take with it is that people will complain about EVERYTHING. Delays happen in the video game market everyday. The only difference here is that SE is keeping their servers live while they test and implement new content. People have this funny idea that Yoshi-P and the developers are sitting on their hands or twiddling their thumbs or something, which is positively absurd.
Regardless of how fast ANYONE thinks the dev team SHOULD be working, the fact of the matter is they are working as fast as they can with the resources they have been given. If you doubt that, then you really don't know much about the corporate world. Being that the launch was a fiscal failure for the company and that one dev team has already been swapped out shows that the company is serious about fixing this game. If not, why not scrap it all together? On top of that, with the project already off to a bad start, I guarantee that the higher ups are looking for marked progress.
The team is doing the best they can as fast as they can.

Thank you for understanding the English language.
I do agree with that part. Seriously I have never seen so many people complain about something as pointless as the definition of a videogame term in a videogame because it's not identical to the definition of the videogame term in that other videogame that's really popular.

I wasn't even aiming it at him lol, I actually agreed with some of the points he made, but he seemed to think I was targetting him. Ah well.
