    Yeah, I think they only ever said it would be out by mid-june "by the earliest". I don't remember them ever saying "late-june". They just stated last month that it would be delayed a couple weeks from when they had originally planned on releasing it, which could have been beginning of july, and is now the 21st. Honestly we don't have THAT many days left.

    Insulting people in the counter argument isn't going to change their minds. It will make them stick harder to their opinion regardless of whether or not it's right, and think less of your opinion simply because you insulted them.     Maybe... Maybe it's company policy now, copy what western developers are doing. Like, you know how the FFXIII-2 team is looking to Bioware for inspiration? Maybe Wada heard that Valve is really successful and really popular with the community, so he was like, "Well I don't like people criticizing us so let's do what Valve does." Then he did a quick wikipedia search but got bored halfway through the article so he just picked the one thing Valve is most famous for and that's why FFXIV updates are all on Valve Time.

    So what does everyone think about that part where he said the raids were not dungeons? Seemed interesting to me! What exactly is a dungeon and what exactly is a raid?

    I think you may have misread what he was trying to say. What was implied was that not all raids will be in dungeons, and in the future we will most likely be able to participate in raids above ground also. I hope that answers your question.


    I'm quite happy with the planned implementation date of 1.18. 2 weeks is ideal for me as I have some things I want to get done ingame before I get completely sidetracked by raiding.

    One month late compared to the first release date, and almost 3 months without a patch.
    Where is the promise to launch a patch per month? I'm sick and tired of your delay.
