He should have stuck to his guns about not stating a time frame with being 100% positive, at least then I could respect the man more, and have more patience with him. I know he is caught in-between a rock and a hard place though, holding 2, 7 off suit sux's balls.

But come on even his date, and his 1st specific date that is greater then 3 days in advance letter no less, has a leeway of 1-2 days, so it's really between July 21st - 23rd.

I would be happy, and would gain more respect for the man, and team if they stated, "I know I F***ed up about the previous time frame, but we can't seem to get s*** straighten out, with out scrapping the entire game and starting from scratch. Tanaka's team royally f***ed things up...Big time "

July 21st is still pretty damn close to mid July.

Its Borderline from just at the peaks end of "Mid-July" to "Late-July" so Yes it is still Mid-July Folks ( like Yoshi-P said)

Technically 1-7 would be the beginning and 25-31 would be the end.. So while its the end of the middle, it's still the middle. ~.^v

Early = 1-12, Mid = 13-23, Late = 24-31st.

Delays are rough though, do you think he enjoys announcing them? Shit happens and things get pushed back, that's how game development goes sometimes. Would you rather they release it early and have it unfinished/buggy? Again delays happen, at least he's being up front about it and giving us an updated time frame.

Throwing Tanaka under the bus(possibly again) wouldn't explain anything. Cursing is unprofessional, and the words imply that scarpping the game is a viable option that's moving around the business. Bad idea, and bad press.

I would imagine that everyone in the current team re-roll wants to say that so badly, but red tape and job security might be working against 'em.
