My expectations are definitely not high. In fact I've said before that they are fairly low, but I am moderately excited about the dungeons and like you I'm fairly convinced there's going to be lines, which is to be expected. It happened with the NMs too! Took so long to claim one it was crazy. But it's refreshing to see people being active and excited about content, regardless of how good it is.

Anyway,

The devs have been very clear about what will be in this patch, so if one's expectations are too high, you can only blame yourself.

I would also be expecting lines at these "raids" like a new ride at Busch Gardens. The population is low, so there might not be lines, but better to expect the worst.

lol dont need to play the game long to know its a giant turd, nor do you need to play long to figure out how badly it lacks content, basic features and needs massive changes to be worthy of most peoples money. After 30 theres what? Some NMs? Whoopie-Do

To certain individuals. If it is so disappointing by all means quit and don't come back, you'll be doing yourself and everyone else a favor because you're not helping. With that said, the dev letter explained very clearly bugs needs to be tested before implementation, every other letter feeds us vital information about what we asked for regarding this patch and beyond. We asked for a date and we got one. Yet some people still feel itchy enough to complain. You know who you are, no need to reply.

Oh no don't tell them that! They might actually do it! Where would we be without all the people who hate the game? Where would we be without all the whining and complaining about nothing?

Seriously, if someone doesn't like a game what do they do? They stop playing it. It's really only logical if you desire to have fun while gaming. Find a game you do like and play that. FFXIV will in time reach a finished state. At that point the game should be judged on it's own merits and if enough people like it it will stick around. If you like it keep playing it. If you don't like it then stop playing it.

Personally I'm more of a constructive criticism kind of guy. Problems do need to be pointed out of course but one can do it in a constructive manner without complaining too much.
