Unable to complete version check on PS4

Getting this error every time I start the game on my PS4. I have checked PSN account info and I have beta 2 entitlement, I even tried downloading the game a second time. What is causing this issue?

error codes are [20447][20446][404]

Same here, tried re downloading the Beta and it keeps launching end of Jan version and then fail checks.

Same issue , now ffxiv is unavailable from psn and nothing in the news about whats going on ,on another note my ps4 betta was downloaded months ago not the last 3 days >_<

I had this same issue last night night when I tried to log in. I had downloaded the beta version back in Feb. What I ended up doing was going to my notifications and I downloaded the game again except it wasn't called the beta version. You may have to go to the psn store first and redownload it first to get the open beta entitlement. Then you should be able to download it. Once I did that it updated the client and I was able to link my ps3 account.

You need the new one. Not the one with the letter B. The new one is open beta

OK, Thanks. I am now downloading the version without the Beta symbol in the corner. SE really should delete old versions because this caused a massive delay. Hope it finally works.

I think this is ridiculous to have to re-download the client. A simple 1GB or 2GB update should have sufficed, especially as I seem to recall reading assurances from Square Enix that we wouldnt have to redownload the software. Instead of a relatively small update we instead have to jump through a hoop to play this by downloading the full client at 12GB! Really?

If you have downloaded the Beta during the aforementioned time, you will need to return to PlayStation®Store and make your purchase again to resolve the issue. You will not need to re-download the software.

Ok, so why are we getting the version check error, and why are we having to redownload the software? Lies I tell you.

Some of us don't have particularly fast internet! I'm not the bill payer for my connection so I don't have the luxury to pick and choose which service I can use. That 12GB client will take me 5 hours to download, and it will hog bandwidth while it does so. This is completely retarded.
