My Solution to Atma Grind

1) go to Display settings and change to "borderless windowed"
2) go to sound settings and turn on "play sounds when window is not active"

Now sit at a boss Fate Event area alt-tab to something u like doing example: read manga, watch a movie or just surf aimlessly an wait for the fate commence sound, alt tab over kill the boss then rinse n repeat.

I refuse to run around like a headless chicken anymore an get angry. So i'm now playing this game like a second rate facebook game.

This actually works very well, especially for special event or quest FATEs as they have incredibly short re-spawn timers. I was doing this on the He's a Firestarter FATE in Southern Thanalan.

Change the "necessary" Atma time sink by allowing Atma to be obtainable while your zenith is in your armoury rather than equipped as a main arm would allow players to use the grind time sink to level an new class/job and thus see some real time progression.

Maybe some players will have all jobs 50 b4 they got all ATMA lol

finished atma #2.... not that much of a grind.. still got all the book for the axe but atmas were pretty easy second time thro

My solution: Queue up for a dungeon as DPS. Spend time in queue running FATES.

Alt solution: Don't care about the FATES for now, work on Primal Weps/Soldery gear. Wait for the inevitable patch due to the many threads of "grind too hard" and "We never asked for this (but we actually did)".

After all, they made it easier to get Myth tomes back in the day when everyone was going for their +1 (and talking about how SE just gives em away, amirite?).
