Unable to transfer character data

I downloaded the beta client today on the ps4. I saw the notice, confirmed that I'm running "Open Beta 2 Entitlement". Made sure to select my current character, rather than a new one.

I'm able to get to the login screen, and even able to log in. But when I click the transfer option I get an error message:

An error has occured.
(NP-31865-3)

And then I'm forced to close the application.

Also, I seem to be unable to view any PS4 forums - like the last 2 dev posts. I don't have permission to view them...

Is there something I'm missing?

OK, I found the answer to the character transfer dilemma in the general discussion thread - it never occurred to me to start by launching the ps3 version and "push" the data from there, prior to "pulling" it from the ps4.

So that problem is now solved.

Im having this exact same problem. I sold my PS3 a while ago and wanted to come back to the Ps4 version of this game. I get the exact same error code and am having the exact same problem. I don't know how I would "push" my character. Its like he's lost in space

Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention. We have reviewed some of the replies about being able to push data, and would like to provide some information that may be helpful.

If you have lost access to your PS3, the only data you will not be able to push to the PS4 would be hotbars and macro settings. While recreating this data can certainly be inconvenient, it should not prevent you from signing up for the PS4 beta or playing on your PS4.

Signing up for the PS4 beta should be able to be done through your PS4. However, it may require transferring your entitlement from the PS3 version of the game to the PS4 version of the game. We had previously discussed how to do this on the Lodestone, and you can find a link to that news post here.

I hope this resolves the troubles that some of you are facing. If it does not, please provide more information, and I will look into this further for you.

For my issue I am good to go. I am stuck at the launcher it is stopping at 6.3 and I am getting 20019 code. I can't afford to buy another disk just for the ps4.
