I was following a man around one time because I thought he was a bot, and I was looking at him real closely, then he said... Hey, why are you following me. I was shocked... I said oh... Do you know where Aleport is? LMAO

Actually as someone that does a lot on his DoL classes I am fairly happy if people ask me if I am a bot.
Beats getting reported constantly for no reason.
I must admit that I do exactly the same when I come into an area where a lot of characters are gathering (with a specific behavioural patern).
I too just ask at random if people are human (in say), those that don't respond get reported.

Felis catus
This is ridiculous. I'm glad you're not on my server. I go into autopilot mode when I need to gather a large amount of shards/crystals with TV shows or a movie playing in Media Player Classic covering my chat box with the game sound off. Just because someone doesn't respond to the message you sent because you're so afraid someone might be breaking the rules, doesn't mean that they are. Especially when this kind of thing could get someones account taken away from them, essentially robbing them of all the time they have invested into the game up to that point.
You do realise that there are legitimate reasons a person might not respond, especially if you use /say rather than /tell? For example if they're distracted, if your message gets pushed out of the chat window by RMT spam, if they're a console player not currently using their keyboard... Personally, if I'm soloing then I usually don't bother switching my keyboard on, because it's a waste of batteries.
I made a Blizzard II macro with like.....8 blizzards, or so, but I use to talk from time to time on party chat, to say congrats on someone who gets the atma, to ask a healer to heal hour tank if he is kitting with like 200 hp, to say all the things I woud like to do to Yohida to thank him for this amazing quest.... Things like that.
Of course with 3 seconds of delay! Them it's go to a fate, press the macro, wait 24 seconds, press it again, and I can do other things in the while![]()
One time when I was mining electrum near Camp Bronze Lake, someone sent me a tell asking if I sell it on the market. I responded that I use it for making jewelry. That's the only time it has come up.
OP, this is perfect time to promptly /sh respond with, "Beep Boop." and go to the next FATE.
I've gotten this while farming for various items, particularly meats for my CUL. The worst is when they've reported me anyway and decided to only send me a tell after the fact, complete with complaining because I'm hogging all of the 'x' and insults/swearing. >:C
Here are a few tips I can pass on from my experience....I hope this helps! Never stay in an area too long. Every time I left an area and came back I got atma within 20 minutes of doing so, don't know if it was coincidence but it worked for me. Also got all my atma solo. Tried a party once and stayed for 6 hrs. left went to a new area solo and once again, within 20 minutes atma.
I always get the question "are you a bot?" because I HQ like the last name Ever first name Greatest. I reply via macro, "no dawg, i'm jus dat OP."
