I'm assuming the source of it is the final boss of Coil2 so it has the boosted ilvl, where as Allagan Round Shield was a Turn 1 drop.

I don't think there's any new Black Mage shields, and the White Mage shield is from Leviathan.

It is because a one hand weapon gives less thats than a 2 hander. And the shield is supposed to balance those stats.

So Paladins had a little stat loss because of the weapon being ilvl 95 and the shield being ilvl 90, while for example the warrior had full ilvl 95 stats from the axe.

This is why the new sword and shield now has ilvl 115.
