Ohana Free Company [OHANA] Is Recruiting!

Ohana Free Company is looking to recruit a few cool people to help round out our groups for 2.2 content. We are currently looking for a tank and a couple DPS (preferably one ranged and one melee of any type), to give us enough flexibility to reliably field 2 groups per week. We are a CST guild with raid times typically starting around 8:30 CST and ending around 11 PM. Plenty of us live outside of the CST timezone, and we find that this timeframe works best for everyone.

We have existed as a guild in various sizes across a wide range of games since 1999. Comprised most of adults who are now in their late 20s and early 30s, our purpose is giving our members the ability to maintain a work, family, and life balance in a fun social atmosphere. We schedule content 3-4 nights a week based around the availability of our members. We understand that real life gets in the way of our members time, and try to make the game as enjoyable as possible for the hours that we have to play.

Because of this mentality, we look for people who fit in with us socially just as much as people who fit in with our play style. Due to our longevity, when we make people a member, we make them one with the intention that they are a member for life. You're welcome with us whether it's in this game or the next, or if you come back to us after a long break. We don’t have static groups, and we don't let raid days dictate the schedule, we schedule around our members to get the most inclusion possible. You don't have to worry if you miss a week because life got in the way. We use parsers as a constructive tool, and ask that you put in as much effort as possible and work with us to constantly improve yourself and the group as a whole.

The majority of our events are focused on pushing new content, currently 2.2 Primals and Turn 6 through 9. At the end of 2.1 we had multiple groups - and all of our members - clearing Turn 5 weekly. While we may never get a World or a Server first, we are dedicated to clearing content at our own pace.
