    While changing your account should seriously not be a big deal, SE North-America is playing the lazy card again.
    Instead of setting proper policies, it's easier to block it for everyone.

    I just hope someday they'll get such a huge slap in the face, they'll be force to have more flexible and customer friendly policies.

    I think my reason for quitting the game someday will be the terrible customer support and not the actual game.

    funny thing is that ...What if 13+ have account as their name and its the parent who use the credit card ??? my little brother is in that situation ... account at his name but card is not same name

    same with me and my big brother ... it was his account name and all ..but since he couldn't have card i was paying from 1.0 and he was paying me back.

    And who do you think who will pay for my wife account? me.. so it's weird it's not working for you

    Don't even bother using Square Enix's Customer Service. It's decorative, and they're likely hired to politely read the FAQ to everyone or subtly ignore people when there's actually a problem that the business is accountable for. They don't have any administrative access that could help you with any problem you encounter.

    Used to work in banking, admittedly on the debit card side of things, but SE rep is 100% correct. The declined authorization will be sitting in the pending transaction of your card provider. You will need to speak to them directly, and depending on the adviser you speak to, will need to direct them to this area of their systems. It would probably be the fraud department that has blocked this, so you'll probably need to be forwarded on to them to remove any 'flags' they have on your account once the pending transaction has been cancelled, then you can try again.
