    Failed to patch really???

    I am going to start off by saying that when this game very first came out i bought it and never once had a problem patching... so i do not think this problem is on my end at all. last night i resubed and for one i am very pissed why the hell do you have to pay for a month of play time before you can even download a patch because if i could have seen how messed up the patcher was i would have never resubbed last night i keep getting about 1gb download then it says patch server failure please restart patch... i looked online just to find 100s of other people with the same problem and not one solution... does anyone have any idea how i can fix this or can i get my money back from square enix and ditch this trash.

    I'm having the same problem, I rolled back from Windows 8.1 to Windows 7 (Windows 8.1 was killing my SSD, literally, kept screwing with the Master Boot Record and crashing my system) and I can't seem to reinstall Final Fantasy XVI, first I had about 10 client crashes... then I'm having the patch error.

    The game itself is already starting to bore me, having a bad launcher is not helping.
