What does link do?

Would really love this feature. I'm on JP client so when I drag/drop item into chat window the text displays in JP for English players and they're like what!? (already made bug report on that one) Right now putting [] before/after the and telling people to mouseover to check English name lol.

I wanted to let you know the team is planning on making the item link name compatible with the auto-translate feature. They are looking at the timing that it can be implemented, while considering the overall implementation of other upcoming adjustments.

Along with materia melds, it would be nice to also include relevant HQ information if the linked item is HQ. Without materia and HQ info, the item link feature just seems like a placeholder for something better.

The dev. team is also looking into how to accomplish this in the future as well.
