I was wondering if someone could tell me is there still a weekly lockout in CT.
By this i mean do you have to wait the following week before you can get another item in CT?
can't seem to find this answer anywhere.

No lockout in CT anymore. Kinda pointless now, though.

The generation of random numbers is too important to be left to chance.
Nah, you can run CT as much as you want, greed all you want, need all you want. No limit on both![]()
No, there is no longer a gear lock out on CT. You can roll and get gear as many times as you want.
Awww cool thanks guys![]()
Or just content, the place is huge (vision wise) and is visually eye-candy, looks like a proper dungeon!
It's a pretty good place to progress for a fairly fresh level 50 player, you can get quick upgrades to 80 on your left side while gaining myth for 90 gear on the right side. This is especially helpful when these type of players are getting shunned from WP/AK because they can't speed run it.
CT is far from pointless. I'm using it to farm up myth tomes for zodiac books while gearing secondary jobs in lvl 80 gear, takes 45-ish mins to finish on average for 100 tomes, plus the chance that one of my less used jobs can jump up an item level or two. After capping soldiery for the week, you can do 2x halatali hard for 100 tomes in about an hour, or 1x CT for the same number in 15 mins less. Has a bit longer wait time though so they equal out to pretty much the same amount of time spent for the same tome reward, but again, my secondary jobs are getting better gear, so it's all good. I've gotten 9 pieces this week so far, 2 more to go and I've got everything I ever wanted from the place. You may call it pointless, but lvl 80 gear is better than lvl 70 gear in most cases, certainly better than lvl 50 gear, and it looks a lot like my myth tomes are going toward books for the foreseeable future so lvl 90 gear is out of the question for now on those secondary jobs. Plus, it's fun in my opinion, and it has great music that brings back nostalgia from my teens when I downloaded a translated rom of FF3 and played it on my comp. And, you know, not everyone has every job in ilvl 90 gear. So people just started. Some people focused on other things than obtaining the best gear, like leveling crafting and gathering classes. Some people have extraordinarily bad luck, poor reflexes, or bad internet connections that prevent them from doing things that are harder and give better gear, or, you know, may have more important things to do with their lives than spending 12 hours a day playing a video game. Just because YOU don't need lvl 80 gear, doesn't mean that no one does.
