Myself and my buddy (Dain Drakebane) are looking for a FC to join. We both have been pretty much logging in and doing our duty finders every day but are looking for an actual group of people to play with. We aren't really looking for hardcore raiding but definitely would want to progress in the content and meet some like minded people as well!

What you're saying sounds like what most of our players (including myself) were saying when they joined our fc. If I understand you right, you're looking for a casual environment, people to shoot the shit with when you're on, and a casual yet progressive raid environment. A little about us:
The FC's general mentality is that reminiscent of the "old school gamer", meaning that we're friends first, like to hang out together, have fun, but also that when it's time to get to work and progress, we take that seriously. No one is "just a number" in our community.

We're smaller by choice, we don't plan to grow larger than 2-3 raid groups, but we're active and progressive.

We have two raid teams currently, team one is working on Titan X (we haven't been in there since echo was put in so I'm sure that's going to be downed this weekend) and T5 (also don't expect this one to last long either).

The second raid team has a couple empty spots to fill before they want to start running things, so we fill them in group one if someone is absent. Otherwise, now that we can coil in pf/df, we take them in every opportunity we get to have them as geared as possible for when they are ready to start raiding together.

What's my point? My point is that we have two raid teams which we could make room for you and your friend in and you'd be able to get right into the fun with us!
